Ski Bradford Ski Patrol

I have completed my second year as ARD. This has been a good year. I attended in Sept ’08 the fall officers meeting in NY on behalf of John Shipman. It was very enlightening to meet other RD’s from the Eastern Division. I also attended the Spring Officers meeting in Albany in May of ’09. This was truly an experience to see the Division elected members truly working in the best interest of the division membership. Last year at our regional fall business meeting I was ask to work with a committee to put together a proposal for the purchase of a regional trailer. Working with other PDs and program coordinators we completed a proposal that was approved by the executive committee. A trailer was purchased for use moving region sponsored events (S+T, Certified etc..). I also spent part of a day at Nashoba in Feb. and got the see the patrol in action including assisting at an accident. What a great group of dedicated patrollers who were truly very busy during the visit. In the fall of ’08 an MTR1 course was put on at Bradford. I worked with Dennis Gauvin Bradford PD to secure the facilities as well as attend the course. A good number of patrollers participated for the weekend.

Looking forward I’m again running for re-election and hope to provide additional support to the region membership.
