| EMARI Instructor Development Report for 2008 - 2009 (October, 2009) |
- The last Instructor Development class was held at Wachusett Mountain on April 6 & April 8, 2009. A total of 7 patrollers took and passed this class.
- In addition, several EMARI patrollers opted for the self-paced CD ROM version of instructor development. An additional 6 patrollers took this option at various times during the season.
- Patrol Directors, Advisors for each of the disciplines (OEC, S&T,MTR), and the EMARI Region Director are all notified whenever a student from their area passes ID. A list of the 2008-2009 graduates follows below.
- One of the bigger changes for me is that I will be Inactive from Wachusett this year (I have one daughter at UVM and a second daughter on the Needham High Ski team). I will continue to run the ID program for the Region this year, and will also continue to teach OEC as an instructor and function as an OEC I/T for the Region.
2009 – 2010 Budget:
- $500 requested
- 4 Copies of the ID CD ROM Class for lending within EMARI (CD’s are ~ $49./CD)
- Ass’t Classroom materials
- Note that ID’s expenses for the past season were less than $100.
